Welcome to Troop 95, Medinah, IL !
Troop 95 was originally chartered in 1961 and has a long and active history. For over 25 years Troop 95 has fostered a scout-led troop that has helped shepherd dozens of scouts to the rank of Eagle Scout. Since 1995 we have had over 70 Scouts achieve the rank of Eagle Scout. Regardless of the rank they ultimately achieve, the goals of Scouting: citizenship training, character development and personal fitness, remain important for all Scouts.

Troop 95 camped at Gardner Dam Scout Camp White Lake, WI, May 31-June 2, 2024. The Scouts took a 3 1/2 hour trip down the Wolf River, class 2-3 rapids, in inflatable rafts provided by Shotgun Eddy.

Troop 95 camped at the OhDaKoTa Scout Reservation, Burlington, WI, and enjoyed a day climbing at Boundless Adventures, Bristol, WI, on April 12-14, 2024.
Troop 95 Meetings
Medinah Troop 95 meets each Monday at 7:30 PM.

Camp Blackhawk lies on the shores of Big Blue Lake and is rich in tradition, with roots dating back to the early days of Scouting.
Summer Camp
Owasippe Scout Reservation: Camp Blackhawk
From June 23-June 29, 2024, Troop 95 camped at Camp Blackhawk on the Owasippe Scout Reservation. The camp is located at 9900 Russell Rd, Twin Lake, MI 49457, and is operated by the Pathway to Adventure Council of Boy Scouts of America.
Why attend? Fun and rank advancements! Last summer, our scouts earned over 30 merit badges in one week, including difficult-to-earn badges and Eagle-required badges.
Online Adult Training
Adult leaders are required to take the BSA Youth Protection Training online. Additionally, almost every BSA required course and certification is online. Non-registered leaders and parents can be certified and it is Troop 95's policy that any adult going on a camp-out or activity MUST be Youth Protection Trained. Everyone is encouraged to take the training. Visit the my.Scouting.org Web site to check out all the courses.
