Troop 95

Welcome to Troop 95, Medinah, IL !

Troop 95 was originally chartered in 1961 and has a long and active history. For 20 years Troop 95 has fostered a scout-led troop that has helped shepherd dozens of scouts to the rank of Eagle Scout. Since 2000 we have had over 50 Scouts achieve the rank of Eagle Scout. Regardless of the rank they ultimately achieve, the goals of Scouting: citizenship training, character development and personal fitness, remain important for all Scouts.

Upper Limits/Moraine View/Climbing merit badge campout 2021

Troop 95 camped at Moraine View State Park near Bloomington, Illinois, July 16 - 18, 2021. The Scouts took a climbing class on rappelling, bouldering, top-roping, auto-belays, and lead-climbing at Upper Limits and earned the climbing merit badge. Scouts then climbed inside the silos, and a few even climbed the 110 ft. tall outdoor wall.

Camp Blackhawk lies on the shores of Big Blue Lake and is rich in tradition, with roots dating back to the early days of Scouting.

Summer Camp
